Save the Cord Foundation is proud to announce that we are taking our voice to the Arizona capitol!

As part of our on-going efforts to support World Cancer Day (February 4th), we will be joining forces with the American Cancer Society on February 6th at the Arizona State Capitol. Our team will be there to educate lawmakers on the life-saving benefits of cord blood donation.

We will be highlighting the amazing work done everyday by the Arizona Public Cord Blood program, a state-run cord blood donation program. In particular, we will be highlighting the 51 (and counting!!) transplants made possible thanks to this program. This is a moment to celebrate and build awareness with those who have the power to expand the Arizona Public Cord Blood program throughout the state. Join us on the day. Let's make our voices heard!

Picture
We are proud to announce the 4th Annual Arizona Cord Blood Conference: On the Horizon -- an innovative conference uniting the world's top experts in cord blood, local doctors and nurses, STEM students and members of the general public in a day of learning and sharing.

FREE EVENT.  OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.

Brought to you by the Arizona Department of Health Services, the Arizona Cord Blood Conference has become a unique opportunity for members of the medical community and the general public to come together. Now in its fourth year, this conference continues to grow and evolve. It is not an ordinary medical conference. Open to the public but designed for medical professionals and STEM students, this event is as much an opportunity for our speakers as it is for the attendees.

This a medical conference with a difference!  The day is filled with highly informative presentations and workshops. These are key to those medical professionals in attendance wishing to obtain CME and/or CNE credits. The atmosphere is guaranteed to be lively and welcoming thanks to the unique mix of attendees at this conference. Doctors, nurses and midwives are given ample opportunity to actively engage with the speakers. Challenging questions are encouraged!

For those from Arizona, the team from the Arizona Public Cord Blood program is on hand to advise on cord blood donation. STEM students are also encouraged to ask questions which inevitably spark wonderful discussions between the speakers and attendees, giving each a unique opportunity to learn from each other. Expecting parents will gain a better understanding of their options for saving cord blood (via donation or privately) empowering them with the information they need to decide what the right choice is for their family.

The conversations are always open and constructive at this event, as an energy fills the room. The day is inspiring as much as it is educational. So, we are not surprised when speakers tell us they want to return!  Nor are we surprised to learn about attendees who have left the event impassioned by what they have learned and eager to share it with others!

We would be honored to have you join us.

Register now to attend this free public event featuring the world-renowned cord blood experts.
